Retorik Perkauman PN Bakal Memakan Diri Sendiri

Image
PN tergamak menggunak...

Syed Saddiq Penyokong Keganasan

Image
Syed Saddiq’s False Bravado

Image
Syed Saddiq puts on a brave front to the public, part of his public appeal. After all, politicians willing to stand up for what they believe in are far in between at this point. Yet for all of the bravado, many were no doubt surprised that Saddiq had decided not run for the Johor state elections – despite sabre rattling and planning to build a coalition without PH partners, PKR. This is nothing new for Saddiq, after all, he will take a big game and fail to follow through when it counts the most. For example during the 2021 Budget vote in Parliament – spent the much of the week rallying against the government, stating that they should allocate the budget fairly. When it came down to it, he simply sat down and did not stand up to support the motion for a bloc voting to pass the 2021 Budget – and did not join the 13 MPs Opposition MPs in ultimately rejecting it at its policy stage. His apology? “I cannot speak on behalf of the other MPs, but I personally believe, in hindsight, that what h...

Will Syed Saddiq Stick to His Guns?

Image
The Johor state elections are running up to be one of the most exciting sideshows in politics in recent decades, as we see the culmination of a years-long rivalry between Bersatu and PPBM come to ahead in 3 way battles for control of the state. The drama doesn’t quite end there as we continue to see PH struggle with its ideas of a principled coalition – as DAP and PKR/PAN argue over the viability of incorporating the newest kid on the block: MUDA. Not to be left out, MUDA and Syed Saddiq rallied their large online support bases to entertain the idea that they would be collaborating with Pakatan in their election debut. However it remains to be seen if MUDA will actually stay with the coalition – unlike the Melaka state elctions. This led to handwringing from Saddiq particularly, who said that he could not stomach working with frogs – but where was this nobility back in Pakatan? Unless he wants us to forget that he was part of Bersatu? The original home for political frogs from UMNO. Th...
